With “Detective Pikachu” looking to bring in a fat sum for Legendary, no surprise to hear that two more “Pokemon” movies are already in the works.
While we’ve heard rumblings of a Mewto spin-off before, a film based on Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue is fresh goss.
According to We Got This Covered, Legendary are developing a title based on characters first introduced in Japan in 1996 and in the US in 1998. These Gameboy titles introduced the world to ‘Pocket Monsters,’ or Pokémon, and featured the original iconic 151.
The film would be set in the same universe as the upcoming “Detective Pikachu” but besides a cameo here and there will have a separate plot.
