Dungeons & Dragons : Honor Among Thieves is ‘a total blast’, say early reviews

The film screened on the opening night of the SXSW festival

Paramount Pictures

The latest oddly intriguing film adaptation of classic board game Dungeons and Dragons has premiered in Austin, Texas to raves.
Dungeons & Dragons : Honor Among Thieves, opening towards the end of the month, stars Star Trek’s Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez of Fast & Furious fame in a reportedly very funny, adventure-ridden tale about a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers that embark on an epic quest to retrieve a long lost relic.

Responses out of Austin’s SXSW festival claim Paramount Pictures has a winner on their hands :

There have been a few films on the role-player game, the first being 2000’s Dungeons & Dragons directed by Courtney Solomon and starring Jeremy Irons and Justin Whalin.

Lundgren’s Drago spin-off still likely
