Universal is revving their engines on “Fast 10”, skedding the penultimate film in the Vin Diesl-starring series for an April 7, 2023 release.
Justin Lin has long been attached to direct this tenth – and eleventh – instalment, which is said to be the conclusion of the main series. There’s a shot that we’ll still see spin-off films featuring those muscly renegades Hobbs & Shaw and there has been whispers of a solo film for Charlize Theron’s.
The Chris Morgan-penned script will expectedly feature parts for series staples Diesel, Sung Kang, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel and Michelle Rodriguez. If you stayed tune during the end-credits of “F9”, there’s a good shot at Jason Statham appearing too.
Vin Diesel recently said he hopes to lure his “Last Witch Hunter” co-star – and bonafide legend – Michael Caine into the next instalment.
