Elijah Wood will star opposite Vin Diesel, Rose Leslie and Michael Caine in Lionsgate’s “The Last Witch Hunter”.
Breck Eisner is directing the film from a Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama screenplay based on Cory Goodman’s pitch. Production is due to get underway later this month.
“The Last Witch Hunter” follows a witch hunter (Diesel) who teams up with his enemy – a female witch – to put a stop to a plague on humanity unleashed by the covens of New York City.
Producers are Mark Canton and Bernie Goldmann with Diesel. Samantha Vincent and Adam Goldworm are exec producing.
