No doubt there’ll be more to share at Comic-Con in a couple of weeks. Meantime, The Hollywood Reporter has it that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise their roles from Netflix’s defunct “Daredevil” series – like duh! we saw that coming! – for the upcoming Disney+ venture “Echo”.
The series, filming in Atlanta, stars Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Cox’s Matt Murdoch and D’Onofrio’s Kingpin Wilson Fisk factor into a subplot that’ll involve the former searching out a former ally.
Meantime, Podcast The Weekly Planet has reported that ally is Jessica Jones, another Marvel character who toplined her own Netflix series and was played by Krysten Ritter.
Cox first reprised Murdoch for the film “Spider-Man : No Way Home” while D’Onofrio popped up on the TV’s “Hawkeye”, reprising his larger-than-life villain.
