Jillian Bell joins Bill & Ted 3 as set photos emerge

It’s already an incredible lineup of stars, but “Bill & Ted Face the Music” is increasing its starpower even more with Jillian Bell joining the cast (via The Hollywood Reporter). Bell (“Workaholics”, “Brittany Runs a Marathon”) will play a couples therapist who works with both men’s families.

“Face the Music” picks up with Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) decades after audiences last saw them. Now middle aged men with daughters of their own, the duo have never fulfilled their rock ‘n’ roll destinies. They set out on an adventure after a visitor from the future warns them only their song can save all life as we know it and bring harmony for the universe.

Dean Parisot is directing from a script by screenwriting duo Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who penned the previous 2 “Bill & Ted” films.

Anthony Carrigan is playing the villain, with the cast also including William Sadler, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Scott Mescudi (“Kid Cudi”), Beck Bennett, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Amy Stoch and Hal Landon Jr.

Some set photos have emerged from filming, also, confirming that the phone booth is back!

“Bill & Ted Face the Music” is set for Aug. 21, 2020.
