Director Chad Stahelski, star Keanu Reeves and other brass from John Wick : Chapter 4 surprised attendees at SXSW tonight with a special screening and post-chat.
In addition to a marriage proposal (naturally), Reeves was quizzed on whether he’ll reprise his John Wick role for the upcoming spin-off film Ballerina which stars
“You guys are amazing,” the Bill & Ted star said. “Thanks for that experience. You guys are fucking awesome.”
Of Ballerina, Reeves confirmed he “has a cameo”.
Constantine 2, despite recent rumors that it’s all a go, isn’t so much a done deal as it is a tough feat.
“I’m trying, man,” Reeves said of whether the film will happen.
Of their favorite moment in the new film, while we’ll leave Reeves’ answer out – because it’s a spoiler- the filmmaker said it was “first day Keanu came on set. He had the suit back on and it was the first time we were back together in three years. So it was pretty special.”
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) takes on his most lethal adversaries yet in the upcoming fourth installment of the series. With the price on his head ever increasing, Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Osaka to Berlin.
