LEGO Back to the Future movie, anyone?

The next time you see LEGO Batman he may be riding shotgun in a Jurassic Park Jeep.
Universal are in talks to produce and distribute new “LEGO” movies, replacing Warner Bros. Dan Lin, who produced the WB’s big screen “LEGO” date, would stay on as producer on the “new batch” of movies.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, LEGO has been yakking to several entities about the future of the “LEGO” movie franchising before officially signing with Universal.

LEGO didn’t renew their pact with Warner Bros after the failure of “The LEGO Movie Part 2” and “LEGO Ninjago Movie”, says the trade.
Should Universal get the nod to take over the “LEGO” movie series its likely we’ll see some of their legendary archive of films – which includes everything from “Jaws” to “Back to the Future”, “E.T” and “Jurassic Park” – given the LEGO movie treatment.
