Maia Kealoha has been cast as Lilo in Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch, shooting in Hawaii.
Dean Fleischer Camp is directing the pic, which also stars The Hangover‘s Zach Galifianakis. It follows the relationship between a lonely girl named Lilo and Stitch, an alien engineered to be a force of destruction.
Jamie Campbell Bower (“Stranger Things”) will star in a remake of ’80s classic Witchboard for Eraser director Chuck Russell. Russell and Greg McKay wrote the script and are producing with Kade Vu and Bernie Gewissler, in an A-Nation Media production. The film, shooting in May in Montreal and New Orleans, tells of a couple and their friends who discover an ancient pendulum board, in turn summoning spirits.
