Live-action Miles Morales Spider-Man movie in the works!

And an update on Spider-Man 4

Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) in Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation's SPIDER-MAN™: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (PART ONE).

With Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hitting the big screen this Friday, Producer Amy Pascal has been ushered out to talk to the press about a film that’s chalking up some of the best reviews of any film this past year.

While a third film in the Spider-Verse animated franchise is already in the works, Pascal also confirmed plans for a live-action take on a Miles Morales web-slinging adventure.

“You’ll see all of it,” she told Variety at the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse premiere in Los Angeles. “It’s all happening.”

Producer Avi Arad also added that a Spider-Woman movie is on the way, and “sooner than you expect.”

Pascal said Tom Holland and Zendaya starring Spider-Man 4 is also in the works, but the writers strike has paused development. “Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are,” she said. “We’re in the process, but the writers strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”
