An oft-reliable social media scooper say Australia’s Margot Robbie is the frontrunner to play Sue Storm in director Matt Shakman’s Fantastic Four movie at Marvel Studios.
Robbie, who previously played Harley Quinn in a trio of films for Warner and DC, would port her services over to producer Kevin Feige for this outing. It’s expected the studio would want the Barbie star to sign on for sequels and who knows what else.
Robbie, who got her big break on local soap “Neighbours”, is listed as a frontrunner for the Invisible Woman alongside Adam Driver’s Reed Richards, Daveed Diggs’ Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Paul Pascal’s Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.
Antonio Banderas, next in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny for Disney, is the hot fave to play the bad guy, Dr. Doom.
