Onward duo Tom Holland and Chris Pratt look to reunite on a film based on the Jak and Daxter game, that Zombieland‘s Ruben Fleischer will direct for Sony.
According to oft-reliable insider MyTimetoShineHello, Marvel alums Holland will take on the live-action role of Jak, while one-time “Everwood” star Pratt is lending his lungs to Daxter.
Jak and Daxter is an action-adventure video game franchise created by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin and owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The games center on the eponymous characters as they try to uncover the secrets of their world, and unravel the mysteries left behind by an ancient race called the Precursors.
Fleischer previously brought to the big screen a feature based on another video game, Uncharted – that game also created by Naughty Dog, the band responsible for Jak and Daxter. Holland also starred in that film.
