Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the versatile actress behind Lucy McClane in the later Die Hard films, ‘Danny’ in Gemini Man, and, as horror fans will recall, Wendy Christensen in Final Destination 3, is now on Lucasfilm’s payroll.
Like beau Ewan McGregor, Winstead has been recruited to star in a Star Wars series for Disney+ – in this case, Ahsoka.
The actress, says Bespin Bulletin, will play Twi’lek pilot and rebel leader, Hera Syndulla.
Rosario Dawson returns as Ahsoka for the series, which features key characters from the Star Wars : Rebels series.
