A reboot of Warner’s V for Vendetta is rumored to be in the works.

Based on the comic book series of the same name written by Alan Moore, with art by David Lloyd and Tony Weare, the film will be the second live-action adaptation of the source material following the 2005 film starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving.

Giant Freakin Robot, who had the news, had no word on what the film will be about or whether it’ll be connected to the first film.

V for Vendetta is set in a futuristic and totalitarian Britain, where a freedom fighter uses terrorist tactics to fight the oppressive society. Evey aids him in his mission to bring down the government.
