Jesse Garcia, who played ‘Dwayne’ in the previous version, will headline Disney+’s remake of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
Garcia takes over the Steve Carell role in the small screen adaptation of, a father of three clashing with his family at every turn. Per Deadline, the Ambulance actor plays “Frank Garcia, a happily married vegan chef, and father of Mia, David, and the titular Alexander. Frank clashes with his family when he refuses to modify his recipes to more traditional Mexican food even if it means missing out on opportunities.”
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, also starring Eva Longoria and George Lopez, hails from writer Matt Lopez and director Marvin Lemus.
