Orlando Bloom is ditching the Pirate garb to do some donuts. The versatile thesp has joined the cast of Neil Blomkamp and Sony Pictures’ adaptation of the PlayStation game Gran Turismo.
The Elizabethtown actor joins David Harbour in the flick, which will fix on a Gran Turismo player (Archie Madekwe) whose gaming skills won him a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
Bloom plays a marketing executive in the pic, shooting next month in Europe.
