Actor turned filmmaker Peter Billingsley will reprise his role as ‘Ralphie’ in a sequel to holiday classic “A Christmas Story”.
Billingsley, who in recent times is best known as a producer and filmmaker (his credits include “Zathura”, “Couples Retreat” and “Four Christmases”), will produce the film alongside regular collaborator Vince Vaughn.
To be directed by Clay Kaytis (“The Christmas Chronicles”) from a script by Nick Schenk (“Cry Macho,” “The Mule”), the project is being backed by Warner Bros. and Legendary.
The new film will begin production in Hungary in February.
