A sequel to “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,” with Stephan Elliott back at the helm, and the original trio of stars Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce and Hugo Weaving returning to reprise their roles from the 1994 film, is in the works.
While plot details are under wraps, the new film will reportedly feature Tick’s now grown son from the first film – and, of course, that bus.
“The original cast is on board, I’ve got a script that everybody likes, we’re still working out deals … it’s happening,” Elliott said. “I’m not repeating myself, we’ll start the new film in Australia, but by god, we’re going on one helluva journey.”
