Dennis Quaid looks set to re-team with Disney on an untitled film about NASCAR driver Richard Petty. Variety says he’s playing Lee Petty, the patriarch of the racing clan who teaches son Richard the ropes. The son becomes so successful that his father suffers a career-ending crash just to keep pace.Quaid is expected to start work on the film in the spring and the studio will soon look to cast the role of Richard Petty.
