Sony release date shuffles : Spider-Verse, Equalizer 3 and more!

Unlikely any of the delays were caused by the pandemic

Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) in Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation's SPIDER-MAN™: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (PART ONE).

Sony Pictures is delaying “Spider-Man : Across the Spider-Verse” from Oct. 7 this year to June 2, 2023. The postponement of the animated superhero sequel is just one of several films the studio shuffled on their release calendar today.

That film’s sequel, “Across the Spider-Verse Part II” is dated for March 29, 2024.

Josh Gordon and Will Speck’s “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” moves up from Nov. 18 to Oct. 7.

“Spider-Man” spin-off “Madame Web” has been skedded for July 7, 2023, while “The Equalizer 3” is set for Sep 1, 2023.

New on Oct. 14, expanding on Oct. 21, and going wide on Oct. 28 is Korean war movie “Devotion”.
