Twilight
Following the hugely successful movie franchise, Stephenie Meyer’s top-selling Twilight book series is now getting the series treatment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sinead Daly (“The Walking Dead : World Beyond”) is attached to write the script for the Twilight series, which is in early development via Lionsgate Television.
Sinead and Lionsgate are discussing whether or not to do a complete remake of Meyer’s books or a different offshoot.
The series, which will be shopped around to different networks at some stage, will be produced by Wyck Godfrey and former Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-president Erik Feig.
The timing of the Twilight series comes as Max recently confirmed that it was in early development of a Harry Potter television adaptation.
Star Trek : Strange New Worlds – Season 2
Paramount+ today revealed the official teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season of its hit original series “Strange New Worlds”. New season two teaser art featuring the U.S.S. Enterprise was also released. Season two will premiere Thursday, June 15 on Paramount+ in the U.S, the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Brazil, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The second season will also be available to stream on Paramount+ in South Korea, with premiere dates to be announced at a later date. Following the premiere, new episodes of the 10-episode season will drop weekly on Thursdays.

Netflix has released a trailer for Fubar, the new series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, premiering May 25.
