Warner Bros are reviving the “Rin Tin Tin” movie series as a “John Wick”-style action film, reports Deadline.
“Scoob” scribe Matt Lieberman has been tapped by Warner to pen the film, which will be produced by Andrew Lazar’s Mad Chance, Sasha Jenson and Jeff Miller.
The plan here is to reinvent Rin Tin Tin as a modern action star, the John Wick of dogs. Here, the hero is an elite military dog on a covert mission to prevent a large scale attack. The film will be live action.
