The creators of “Robot Chicken” have teamed with Lucasfilm to develop a – wait for it.. – animated “Star Wars” ‘sitcom’!
Yep, ‘sitcom’ – starring characters from one of the darkest space serials in history.
“Married with Clonetroopers?” “Skywalker Family Ties?” “The Cougar Town of Naboo”? “How I Met Your Father“!?
Creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich want to explore the after-hours activities of characters such as Darth Vader, Bobba Fett and the pig-looking-dudes who guard Jabba’s palace.
“The ‘Star Wars’ universe is so dense and rich; it’s crazy to think that there aren’t normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined,” Green said. “What do these characters do when they’re not overthrowing empires?”
Added Senreich, “We’re going to pull back the curtain of some of those behind-the-scenes shenanigans.”
Oh George, Oh George… man, put a firecracker under your ass and get this seemingly-never-coming ‘live-action’ series going if you must continue to milk “Star Wars”, don’t take the piss out of your best creation! It’s like selling your daughter to a pimp for a few bottles of milk!
