Adopt a Pet, thanks to JLo!

Hey Guys, We don’t usually run things like this, but being animal lovers, and feeling this is a great thing, thought we’d run this “pet adoption” media release that the gang behind CBS Films’ “The Back-Up Plan” are running.

CBS FILMS’ “THE BACK-UP PLAN” AND THE AMERICAN HUMANE ASSOCIATION TEAM UP ON NATIONWIDE PET ADOPTIONS

In celebration of the upcoming release “The Back-up Plan,” CBS Films (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) announced today that it is teaming with the American Humane Association to host a nationwide pet adoption event. “The Back-up Plan,” a romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Alex O’Loughlin, will debut in US theaters on April 23, 2010.
In the film, Zoe (Lopez) owns Hudson Mutts, a hip Greenwich Village pet boutique that caters to pet adoptions and environmentally friendly, healthy pet care. Her decision to create a socially conscious pet store was inspired by her dog Nuts – a featured character in the film.
CBS Films and American Humane are working with a targeted American Humane member shelter in each of the 12 selected markets to organize the pet adoption events. Details specific to each market are listed below. Promotional items tied to the film, including advance screening passes, will be distributed to attendees.
*Times will vary by market. Please contact local shelters for further details.
