Amber Heard sees Dead People!

John Carpenter returns to the spook room for “The Ward”, a new ghost-story set to star “Mandy Lane” cutie Amber Heard.

The film, Carpenter’s first since 2001’s “Ghost of Mars”, will see Heard (“The Pineapple Express”) play a haunted woman in a mental institution, according to Variety.

Meanwhile Ron Moore tinkers away on a sequel/reboot (which is it?) of Carpenter’s “The Thing”.
