Replaces Jennifer Jason Leigh for comedy
Anne ‘I thought I was gay, until I slept with Ellen’ Heche (“Six Days, Seven Nights”, TVs “Men in Trees”) has swapped places with Jennifer Jason Leigh (whose sex scene in “Fast Times at Ridgemont HIgh” I really need to record and loop and save as my screensaver) for the new indie comedy “Spread”. It isn’t said whether Leigh’s exit from the film has anything to do with the fact that it stars Ashton Kutcher, but, er, it could. (The rumour mill suggests it has more to do with Leigh possibly being pregnant).
The film, which Kutcher’s production company is handling, will see the former “That 70’s Show” and Heche mix it up in the tale of a womanizer and the lover he scorns.
Sounds like Leigh got pregnant just at the right time.
