Another ‘Sabrina’ actress joins Mortal Kombat movie sequel

Reuniting with her “Chilling Adventures” co-star Tati Gabrielle

Adeline Rudolph (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) will play Kitana in New Line’s Mortal Kombat sequel, which begins shooting shortly in Queensland, Australia in, says THR.

The actress joins Tati Gabrielle, her co-star on the Netflix series, in the Simon McQuoid directed movie. Karl Urban, Josh Lawson, and Jessica McNamee is also onboard.

The character of Kitana, introduced in the video game Mortal Kombat 2, has a close bond with Jade, played by Gabrielle.

Jeremy Slater’s script will reportedly introduce a bevy of new characters, as That Hashtag Show revealed recently. Among franchise faves making their return to the big screen are Shao Kahn, Baraka, and Quan Chi.
