Australian filmmaker Patrick Hughes (“The Hitman’s Bodyguard”, “Red Hill”) will direct a new action-comedy starring Jason Statham and Kevin Hart.
The Sony Pictures release “The Man from Toronto” has already been skedded for a November 20 release.
Details on the script by Robbie Fox, from a story by Fox and Jason Blumenthal, are being kept under wraps.
Though Statham and Hart haven’t worked together before, the former did make an uncredited appearance in Statham’s two-hander with Dwayne Johnson, “Hobbs & Shaw”.
