New ‘Wonder Woman’ Gal Gadot (“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”) and “Game of Thrones” actor Pedro Pascal are in talks to join the cast of MGM’s “Ben-Hur” redo.
The film, starring Jack Huston, Toby Kebbell, and Morgan Freeman, would feature Gadot as a slave who falls for Ben-Hur (Huston), with Pascal playing the pivotal role of Pontius Pilate.
The Timur Bekmambetov-directed movie is said to be based more on the original Lee Wallace novel than the 1959 movie starring Charlton Heston.
“Ben-Hur” is in cinemas February 2016.
