Tom Hanks may return for a Big sequel… Small?

The 1988 hit is the latest film Hollywood wants to capitalize on further

Sequels are still all the rage – despite what the box office is suggesting – with Disney reportedly courting Tom Hanks for a sequel to his 1988 hit Big.

I know, weird… right!?

How does that work?

According to Giant Freakin Robot, “Josh Baskins will experience the exact opposite of the transformation he undergoes in Big.

Big 2‘s logline says that Josh Baskin finds himself magically transformed into a child once again, experiencing the wonders and challenges of a second chance at childhood.”

The late Penny Marshall directed the original film, which Hanks was nominated an Oscar for. Elizabeth Perkins, John Heard, Robert Loggia, Mercedes Reuhl, David Moscow, Jared Rushton, and Jon Lovitz co-starred.

Be interesting to see whether this comes off..
