Caffeinated Clint
The always versatile Kevin Bacon – heck, for most of “Hollow Man” he was Invisible, Obviously not vain – has joined the rather intriguing cast of “Beauty Shop”, the “Barbershop 2” spin-off starring Queen Latifah.
According to Variety, “Honey” helmer Billie Woodruff is directing the film from a script by Kate Lanier and Norm Vance. In it, Bacon will play Jorge, a flamboyant owner of a hair salon who becomes the nemesis of a former employee (Latifah) after she quits working for him and starts up her own competing beauty shop in Atlanta.
“Beauty Shop”, which is now shooting, also stars Mena Suvari, Alicia Silverstone, Djimon Hounsou and Lil’ JJ, and hits theatres on November 24.
