Elle Fanning will be joined by “Diary of a Teenage Girl” star Bel Powley in period romance “A Storm in the Stars”.
Haifaa Al-Mansour is directing the film about the love affair between poet Percy Shelley and the brilliant 18-year-old Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin that ultimately led the poet to pen “Frankenstein”.
Emma Jensen wrote the script.
Powley will play Mary’s stepsister Claire Clairmont, moves in with Mary and Percy, complicating their relationship.
Amy Baer will produce for Gidden Media. Joannie Burstein and Rebecca Miller will exec produce.
