Hot on the heels of his return to the “Ghostbusters” franchise, “Ghostbusters : Afterlife” star Bill Murray is apparently suiting up for a role in Marvel blockbuster “Ant Man and the Wasp : Quantummania.”
Mandy.com (via Cosmic Circus) has a listing for the Paul Rudd-starrer that reveals John Townsend has been commissioned to be the double photo on “Dusty Bunny”.
Townsend will apparently double Murray.
If true, the film will reunite Murray with Rudd, his co-star in next month’s “Ghostbusters : Afterlife”. It’s likely Rudd approached Murray with the role after working with him on the Jason Reitman-directed comedy.
Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton and Corey Stoll all star in Ant Man and the Wasp : Quantummania”, which Peyton Reed is lensing. Filming is reportedly already taking place so expects to see some set pics soon.
