Trailer : Ghostbusters: Afterlife teases the return of an old fave

A new trailer for the highly anticipated “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” has dropped, with the kids being the focus of the new footage. First of all, can you believe it’s been nearly 40 years since the original? Boy do I feel ancient.

The film is set for release November 11 and stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace – with original stars like Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, and Ernie Hudson all expected to return.

If you watch the trailer right til the end, you may recognize a familar voice at the end of that phone call…!

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan.
