Tucker signs up for Dreamworks’ thriller
Jonathan Tucker (“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, “100 Girls”) will star in “The Ruins” a new Dreamworks’ pic for producer Ben ‘Hair Gel’ Stiller, based on the novel of the same name.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tucker will star as Jeff, a go-getter premed student, in the thriller about a group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when Jeff persuades them to accompany a fellow tourist on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.
The movie will film in beautiful Queensland, Australia.
The actor currently appears on the critically –tomatoed cable series “The Black Donnelly”.
