Burton rules out Monkey Business

After catching his new film “Big Fish” last week, I’ve never been such a fan of Tim Burton. I for one am glad he won’t be fronting a once-planned “Planet of the Apes” sequel, he deserves better. "No, no, no, never. After having made Batman Returns, I realized it’s not a good idea for me to do sequels." What that also means folks, is that you can rule out the rumoured “Beetlejuice” sequel, unless someone else does it. Burton also tells the Calgary Sun the status of “Willie Wonka” “"I have no idea when we’ll begin on Willy. It will all depend on the script. I won’t be tied down to a release date ever again." Burton says he chose Depp over actors like Michael Keaton because "he’s always surprising and funny and right now he’s a big star."
