There hasn’t been any mention of the “True Lies” TV series since it was first announced in September. We know it’s headed to ABC, and we know James Cameron is executive producing, but there’s loss gossip on this than there is in a Readers Digest.
TheArnoldFans website caught up with Jim Cameron over the weekend and he was [much to their, and our, surprise] pleased to tell them what he knew. Regrettably, it ain’t much.
TheArnoldFans: Is the True Lies TV series still a go?
James Cameron: “Yes, they’re currently writing it.”
TheArnoldFans: Will Eliza Dushku and Tom Arnold be lead cast members in the True Lies TV series?
James Cameron: “Well, I’m not developing it directly. I’m just putting my name on it so to speak.”
TheArnoldFans: Will it involve Arnold’s character of Harry Tasker or an all new hero?
James Cameron: “I don’t know. I’ll tell you when I read the story and approve it. They are putting it together.”
