Casper Van Dien channels his inner Miyagi for Chokehold

’90s icon Casper Van Dien (“Starship Troopers”, “Melrose Place”) has joined the cast of martial arts drama “Chokehold”, according to Deadline.

Also starring Lochlyn Munro (“Freddy vs. Jason”), MMA Fighter Melissa Croden and “Rules of Attraction” alum Kip Pardue, the Brian Skiba directed actioner is set in the world of Women’s mixed martial arts and stars Croden as a woman out for ”reconciliation and retribution”. Van Dien, best known for playing Johnny Rico in the “Starship Troopers” series, plays her trainer.
