Marie Avgeropoulos (TV’s “Cult”) will star opposite Taylor Lautner in “Tracers” for producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey’s Temple Hill Entertainment. The actress “will play Nikki, a skater girl who runs with a gang of street criminals. She meets Lautner’s bike messenger Cam and pulls him into her world – and, naturally, into a love triangle with a member of her crew.” (Deadline)
Jennifer Lopez has joined the cast of the Chilean mine drama “The 33”. Antonio Banderas, Martin Sheen and Rodrigo Santoro are also onboard the film, the true story of the 33 Chilean miners who were rescued after being trapped for 69 days in 2010. Patricia Riggen directs. (The Hollywood Reporter)
