Chandler enlists for Alien series

Series is set on Earth, 70 years from now

Sydney Chandler, daughter of ”Friday Night Lights” actor Kyle Chandler and the actress who plays Chrissie Hynde in series “Pistol” and co-starred in Don’t Worry Darling, has snagged the lead role in Noah Hawley’s ”Alien” series at FX.

The series, which takes place before the events of 1979’s Alien, is set on Earth, 70 years for current day.

Alien isn’t the only project based on the long-running IP in the works, there’s also the Fede Alvarez directed Alien : Romulus, which stars Cailee Spaeny and Isabela Merced and is currently before the cameras.
