Chu, Abrams to bring Oh, the Places You’ll Go! to the big screen

The film, which will be animated, is still six years away from release

“Step Up” and “G.I Joe” helmer Jon M.Chu is set to direct an adaptation of Dr Seuss classic “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”.

The animated feature, which won’t release until 2027, hails from Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Warner Bros Animation Group.

Per Deadline, who have the scoop, the pic “will be a globetrotting animated musical following a young adventurer as they journey through the joys and heartaches, and the peaks and valleys, of life.”

J.J Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions will produce the film, one of only a number of Seuss titles that Warner Bros are looking to turn into films.
