Clooney’s Coen Back In

Joel & Ethan reunite with George

Proving he’s still keen to do some good old-fashioned hard labour – which most Coen Brothers films necessitate from their talent – George Clooney is reuniting with Joel and Ethan Coen for a third time.

According to Production Weekly, the “Ocean’s Thirteen” star will headline “Burn After Reading”, based on the novel “Burn Before Reading: Presidents, CIA Directors, and Secret Intelligence,” by Admiral Stansfield Turner, who served as director of the CIA from 1977 to 1981.

The modern-day caper fixes on a CIA agent who is writing and book and loses the disc. Clooney, who worked with The Coen’s on “Oh, Brother Where Art Thou?” and “Intolerable Cruelty”, would play the killer.

The film starts rolling next August.
