Variety has confirmed Blackfilm.com’s rumour (their specialty it seems; much easier than having to dig for scoops themselves) that “District 9†star Sharlto Copley is in talks to play ‘Howling Mad Murdock’ in director Joe Carnahan’s “A-Team†movie, while adding that Jessica Biel is in talks to play the female lead.
The “Powder Blue†hottie would play Faceman’s (Bradley Cooper) ex-lover, the general pursuing the team.
Sharlto Copley, who claimed fame this year as in the surprise hit “District 9â€, would take on the role made famous by Dwight Schultz in the popular 80s TV series.
The film, starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and David Richmond-Peck, lenses this fall in Vancouver.
