Craven directing Scream 4

I’ve known for a while that Wes Craven has been onboard “Scream 4”.

I’ve also been in on some of the different plotlines they’ve been toying with – none of which have sounded particularly stimulating; well…. maybe the one about the tot… or the one where he, er, nevermind…

I’m also quite aware just how vital Courteney Cox and David Arquette – or ‘The Arquettes’ as a wedding invite would say – are to the film… and every plot line that’s been dreamed up for this one… Which, not surprisingly, they’re loving.

Yep, been hearing a lot about this one for a couple of years now – – right up until Dimension took away my walk-on pass.

I joke… or do I?

Nevertheless, Cinema Blend were the first to report that Craven was indeed going to return to the director’s chair for “Scream 4 : Let’s forget Cursed”.

That was about a month ago.

Thus, star Neve Campbell (who I’m guessing, just guessing, only has a teeny role in this one) thought it safe to blurt to the media this week that it’s a done deal – well, since it’s “out there” anyway.
