“Black Book” star is Maverick’s new wingman?
Dutch actress Carice van Houten, who starred in Paul Verhoeven’s “Black Book”, will play Tom Cruise’s wife in the Bryan Singer-directed “Valkyrie”, according to Nu.nl.
The film, which tells of German generals who plot to kill Adolph Hitler, will be the actress’s first American picture.
Also signed to appear in the movie are Kenneth Branagh – who at one time was set to star opposite Cruise in Mission: Impossible 3 – Patrick Wilson, Stephen Fry and Tom Wilkinson.
Filming from July in Berlin.
