“Deadwood” alum Kim Dickens has been cast opposite Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron in “Heartland”, says Deadline.
The flick ”revolves around a traditional father (Quaid) who wishes for his race-car driver son (Efron) to take over the family-run seed business in Iowa, a tale that includes racing and illegal goings-on.”
Dickens, who also appeared on “Friday Night Lights” and is now a regular on “Treme”, would play the mother, Irene.
