Dwayne Johnson will play Black Adam in Warner Bros’ “Shazam”, the actor confirmed today.
Johnson, who hinted a few weeks back that he’ll be headlining the long-gestating DC Comics’ project, tweeted “‘Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot.’ My honor to become #BlackAdam #TheAntiHero #DCComics.
Though more of a villain in the comics, Johnson’s tweet would suggest that he’s playing sort of an anti-hero version of Black Adam.
