Edie Falco’s I’ll Be Right There finds U.S distribution

“We are delighted to bring this funny and relatable film to audiences nationwide,” said Michelle Shwarzstein, CEO of Brainstorm Media

Brainstorm Media is thrilled to announce it has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the indie comedy I’LL BE RIGHT THERE. The deal was negotiated by Peter Block and Cory Neal of A Bigger Boat Productions and Alex Peters of Brainstorm Media.

Directed by Brendan Walsh (Nurse Jackie) and featuring an ensemble cast, I’LL BE RIGHT THERE stars Emmy and Golden Globe winner Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), alongside Oscar nominee Jeannie Berlin (The Fabelmans), Charlie Tahan (Ozark), Independent Spirit Award nominee Kayli Carter (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Michael Rapaport (Only Murders in the Building), Michael Beach (Dahmer), Sepideh Moafi (Black Bird) and Emmy winner Bradley Whitford (The Handmaid’s Tale).

In this heartwarming yet hilarious film, Wanda (Edie Falco) finds herself juggling the complexities of life: her pregnant daughter’s wedding plans, her mother’s health concerns, her son’s uncertain future, and her own romantic dilemmas. As Wanda navigates through these challenges, she discovers that taking care of everyone else leaves little time for herself, even though she’s not sure what she would do with it if she had it.

“We are delighted to bring this funny and relatable film to audiences nationwide,” said Michelle Shwarzstein, CEO of Brainstorm Media. “Edie Falco leads a terrific ensemble cast who deliver performances that will both make you laugh and warm your heart.”

I’LL BE RIGHT THERE reunites Edie Falco with director Brendan Walsh, known for their collaboration on Nurse Jackie, and features a script by Jim Beggarly (Free Samples).“I am thrilled that Brainstorm will be releasing this film theatrically and audiences will get to see it with friends and family. From the time that I first read Jim’s script and was able to bring Brendan on-board to direct, it was just a matter of lining up great friends, a nimble crew and building a terrific film family to show how you can love your family even when you can’t always live with them. I am incredibly proud of this movie.” said producer and star Edie Falco.

Director Brendan Walsh said, “Working with Edie has always been such a pleasure and it was such an honor to direct this project and partner with her again. She was the first to set and the last to leave, and all cast, crew and producers were inspired by her energy and creativity.”
