“Freakylinks” star joins D.J Caruso thriller
“Freakylinks” CEO Ethan Embry has joined the cast of D.J Caruso’s “Eagle Eye”, now shooting in Chicago.
The young actor, whose previous credits include “Empire Records” and “Harold and Kumar go to White Castle”, will play agent Toby Grant in the pic.
Based on an idea by Steven Spielberg, the pic tells of a young slacker (LaBeouf) and a single mama (Michelle Monaghan) who get tangled up in a terrorist cell plotting a political assassination.
Anthony Mackie (“We are Marshall”) and Madylin Sweeten, best known as Ally on TVs “Everybody Loves Raymond”, have also been cast.
