End of the Ocean’s

Steven Soderbergh says “Thirteen” is the last

If only because we keep returning, George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh could keep making “Ocean’s” sequels until they’re blue in the face – either that, or until there wallets won’t hold anymore notes. They won’t be though, Soderbergh told attendees of the Edinburgh Film Festival, says Clooney Studio and Coming Soon.

Apparently “Ocean’s 13” is the final instalment of the series. In fact, Soderbergh says Clooney essentially only wanted to make this one because he thought, “Ocean’s Twelve” was too complicated – and the series needed to return to its comedy roots. So that’s what this one is.

And though Soderberg didn’t reveal much about Al Pacino’s character in the film – he did describe his character, a casino owner, as a “monster”.
